I had a cavity issue, and now it becomes deeper. I started to feel a slight pain on the tooth. So I went to consult a nearby dentist in Guelph. He examined and confirmed that my cavity was abstruse. He suggested two options one was a root canal, and the other was tooth extraction. If I choose the extraction process, I have to take further treatment like dental implants. So I thought root canal treatment would be a better choice for me because it helps in preserving the natural tooth. So I took an appointment for next week. Are there any preparations to be done before heading to this root canal treatment? I'm a person who is very much afraid of pain. Do I need to go through a lot of pain for this? Is there anyone who have done root canal treatment earlier? If so, please share your thoughts on this. Thanks!
