Hi, I am 21 years old girl. When I was a child, my first molar got decayed. At that time, I was afraid of the root canal and I asked my dentist to remove that teeth. But now I feel that was a wrong decision. Now I find difficulty in chewing food without this teeth. I asked one of my friends, how can I overcome this difficulty. She suggested me to have a consultation in a dental clinic that offers general dentistry from Edmonton. She told from her little knowledge that there is a procedure called dental bridge to restore my missing teeth. I searched for this dental bridge. I found that they will place fake teeth in that position which will resolve my problem.
Is this a painful procedure? But if I am doing this, what kind of material should be used for the fake teeth? Will this procedure give lifetime result? Will this dental bridge cause any difficulties in speaking? After teeth bridging, should I give special consideration to the bridged teeth or just same as my regular teeth? If not caring properly, will it cause any gum issues? How much will this procedure cost? Please give me genuine replies.
