Hi, my mom is forty-two years old. Recently she is facing some problems with her eye. Her eyesight became blurry and when she visited an optician he said that she is having the cataract in her right eye. The doctor recommended undergoing cataract surgery. My mom underwent the cataract surgery last month from Toronto and it was a great success. She started to see things clearly. But gradually her sight started to get blurry with her left eye. So her optician suggested having the second operation. I have heard that even after the surgery reading glasses are required. Is that true? She has presbyopia and she wears glasses for this. Can anyone share your experiences after the cataract surgery? When I researched on it, I read about multifocal intraocular lenses. How do their work? Share your insight with me.
