About the event
The purpose of this event is to provide a safe space for Black girls and women to learn tools to engage in consistent self-care through writing as a form of expression. They will walk away feeling seen within the community, leaning deeper into vulnerability amongst sisters, and with a greater sense of self-love and acceptance. Guided by the lessons of Alice Walker, as well as other elders and ancestors, they will know they, too, can grow and bloom.
